the Canada Elections Act, subs. 482(b)

 

AFFIDAVIT OF  _______________________.

 

            I, ________________________, of the City of Vancouver in the Province of British Columbia MAKE OATH AND SAY (or AFFIRM):

 

1. On January 23, 2006, the date of the most recent federal election, I resided at _______________________________, Vancouver, in the federal riding of Vancouver Kingsway, and was qualified to vote, and did vote in that election in that riding.

 

2. On January 23, 2006, I voted for Mr. David Emerson, the candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada, in the federal riding of Vancouver Kingsway.

 

3. I voted for Mr. Emerson because he was the candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada.

 

4. I would not have voted for Mr. Emerson:

 

(a)    if he had been the candidate for any party other than the Liberal Party of Canada; or,

 

(b)   if I had known on January 23, 2006 that Mr. Emerson would later become the Member of  Parliament for the riding of Vancouver Kingsway for any party other than the Liberal Party.

 

5. If Mr. Emerson had been the candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada in the federal riding of Vancouver Kingsway on January 23, 2006, then I would have voted for the Liberal candidate in that riding instead of for Mr. Emerson.
